Rules and Regulations
General Rules:
1. Must have a fishing rod license.
2. No Littering, there are bins on-site.
3. No children under the age of 5.
4. No pets
Carp Rules:
1. Must have a proper fishing rod, with a maximum of 2 rods per person.
2. Barbless hooks only (size 6-12). No micro barbs.
3. Must have a walled landing/cradle mat.
4. 30" carp net/no keep nets.
5. Minimum 10lb line.
6. No tiger nuts.
7. You must have an antiseptic spray.
8. No fly rods.
9. No Lead core fishing lines
10. No old Braid rigs (Modern ones with plastic cover are allowed)
​11. No Artificial food/bait
12. No Spinners
13. No Keep nets
14. No Bubble floats

Specimen Pond Rules
1. All anglers are to report to our caravan office to pay and have equipment checked.
2. Our age limit is 18+ with prior experience. We will allow 16+ but with an experienced adult who would be fishing themselves. Any exceptions are to our discretion.
3. You must have a fishing/rod license.
4. The owner reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any angler breaking rules.
5. Our opening hours are:
8am-5pm (April-October)
8am-4pm (November-March).
We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the only exception of being open on bank holiday Mondays!
We do not offer night fishing as of right now.
6. No alcoholic drink or illegal substances allowed on the premises.
7. 40" landing nets only - keep nets not allowed. All nets must be dipped on arrival.
8. Maximum of 2 rods (carp rods only) per person. Do not leave your rods unattended.
9. Carp care antiseptic to be used to treat any wounds on our fish.
10. Micro barb hooks only (4-8mm).
11. Metal cradle only. You must have a sling to return the fish to the water.
Only handle the fish over the cradle; no more than knee height. Do not carry the fish around by hand.
12. No tiger nuts, mixed particles, sweetcorn or artificial food allowed. *No bait boats.*
13. No float or bread surface fishing.
14. No braided main line, no fixed leaders, rigs or lead core leaders. Clip on lead or sliding weights only.
15. Strictly no BBQ's.
16. All litter must be taken with you on exit or put in one of our bins.
17. We do not allow spectators on our Specimen Lake.
